These are mostly handcrafted by myself, with help from gentle spirits, who inspire me with each individual piece I make. As well as having items here that are made by Native Artisans.
Smudging is a form of clearing negative or bad energies from a person, place or object. To do something sacred one must become sacred. Clearing the energy with the sacred smoke with herbs.
The Feathers or fan play a key role in smudging, Feathers and smoke represent air, the herbs represent earth, the fire - fire of course, and the shell in which the herbs are held represent the water... honouring all 4 elements ....
